Crispy Crumble

You don't need a long list of ingredients to give your muffins a special touch. A simple handful of crumble is enough to transform a homemade muffin into a café-bakery style.

Make your favorite MUFF mix as usual and while the oven is preheating, simply mix:

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats

  • 1/4 cup flour

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 3 tbsp cold butter, cut into small cubes

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)

Blend with your fingertips until you get a sandy texture. Spread a small amount over each muffin before baking. Don't over-crush your crumble: a few larger pieces give a crispier, more uneven top... Just like bakery muffins.

Even more greedy? Add a few nuts or seeds on top for even more crunch.
