Dark chocolate frosting (too) easy
Who said that to be decadent, it had to be complicated?
Here in Quebec, we are used to filling our cookies or gingerbread cakes with white icing. But I (Sandra), who is of Swiss-German origin, grew up with Lebkuchen, which is the traditional German gingerbread. This is the recipe that inspires our holiday blend, with its cocoa and 8-spice mix. Here, I'm offering you the whole thing: a dip in dark chocolate frosting. No double boiler, no complicated ingredients; This frosting is easily done in less than 3 minutes!

RECIPE
Dark chocolate frosting (too) easy
Ingredients:
1/2 cup (about 95 g) dark chocolate chips (or chopped dark chocolate)
3 tbsp. tablespoon milk or plant-based drink of your choice
1 tbsp. tablespoon butter or coconut oil
Instructions:
Place all ingredients in a small microwave-safe bowl.
Heat for 30 seconds on high. Mix.
If necessary, return to the microwave in 10-second intervals until melted.
Top the muffins or cake with this icing.
